So! Figured I'd just start this for kicks.
Here's a place to discuss whatever you wish to talk about that you like, and yes I know that's quite the general statement but that's the whole point.
Have a book that you just read and absolutely loved? bring it forward if you wish and recommend it to others who maybe haven't read it before... or discuss it with people who have. Have some music that you just wanna talk on and on about? Go ahead.
In other words, this is basically my attempt at starting a topic where us teens can just chill and talk about whatever.
I'll start with this. Rereading the whole Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare, and it's still just as good as the first time I read it. Waiting on dark artifices book 2, and The Last Hours.
In other news naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm 4 is still my greatest investment of the year, can't stop playing it.
I'll leave it at that for now. :)

Post 2 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Wednesday, 18-May-2016 11:06:02

thanks, ryan! :) I'm barely reading the first book of the shadow hunter series
but I seriously love those books! But right now, I'm trying to read the harry
potter series. :)
in other news, I'm happy to say that Sia's touring. But, I don't think it's safe
for her to be touring right now but it's her choice. :d
And, I just got adele's new song on spotify! yay me!

Post 3 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Wednesday, 18-May-2016 15:04:58

you haven't read HP before? what's wrong with you! lol JK, I need to introduce you to some of the fanfics out there though, those harrys kick cannon harry's ass
in other news, shania twain rules everything... that is all

Post 4 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Wednesday, 18-May-2016 15:22:34

haha! yo, I've read some fan fics. they're good... very good. Who's shania

Post 5 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Wednesday, 18-May-2016 17:54:47

canadian, lol country pop ish kind of thing, kinda hard to describe unless you look up some of her stuff

Post 6 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 20-May-2016 11:27:19

lol, i'll look her up. :)

Post 7 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Friday, 20-May-2016 12:47:13

I love how this is just us two chatting, lol
does anyone else think that life is a highway is one of the most epic songs ever written? country version, not the old one

Post 8 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Friday, 20-May-2016 13:03:40

yeah, i think it's good. :) I know right? people, continue this convo! :p

Post 9 by SilverLightning (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 20-May-2016 14:43:13

Only if you redefine the word epic to mean boringly predictable and not all
that much fun to listen to. Its musically under-written, lyrically sleep-inducing,
and his voice sounds like someone is tightening a pipe wrench on his nuts. Its
nowhere near epic.

Post 10 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Friday, 20-May-2016 17:38:31

let's agree to disagree on that one... even you can't deny though as far as comparisons go it beats the original version's ass

Post 11 by SilverLightning (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 20-May-2016 17:54:21

to me that comparison is about the same as asking whether you want to eat
fried armadillo poop, or sauteed armadillo poop. Its entirely possible that one is
better than the other, but in the end they're both crap.

Post 12 by Remy (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 20-May-2016 19:45:01

I'm pretty neutral on both versions. And if anything, I feel like life is more a series of twists and turns through some inner city streets, complete with potholes, trash, pedestrians, hitch-hikers and all manner of pleasant distractions.

Post 13 by forereel (Just posting.) on Saturday, 21-May-2016 12:29:04

I'll have fried armadillo poop, , thank you.
In other news, mS. or whatever Ariana has grown on me, or at least her newest album.
I'd heard it a couple times before release, but now it is on my playlist.

Post 14 by SilverLightning (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 21-May-2016 13:04:19

I listened to the first little bit. I like that she's at least breaking away from the
usual in pop music. she's at least trying new things. I wish she hadn't featured
little wayne though. Actually, I wish that guy would get eaten by something, like
the slimy lizzard he is. I despise everything about that guy, music and all.

Post 15 by forereel (Just posting.) on Saturday, 21-May-2016 14:16:44

That was the track I think she sound timid on.
One reviewer called it breathy.
It is a booty shaker, so works anyway, but still?

Post 16 by SilverLightning (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 21-May-2016 14:36:14

Yeah, but she's made booty shakers before that don't sound so weak. She has
the most powerful voice when she wants to. In fact I'd say she the Meriah Karie
of this generation.

Post 17 by forereel (Just posting.) on Saturday, 21-May-2016 15:35:02

Maybe so.

You know the title songs go Karokee as soon as they hit, so she's popular enough.
This one Dangerous Woman is already on the bar list, and it hasn't been out but a week or so.

Post 18 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 23-May-2016 11:15:16

that's my song right there... Dangerous woman. I love the change but yeah,
cody, high five. I want drake and lil wayne to disappear. they're horible at
rapping and stuff. I don't like them much.

Post 19 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 23-May-2016 11:15:58

who's with me? Lil wayne sounds like he's on drugs or something... :p

Post 20 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Monday, 23-May-2016 11:47:10

I don't even keep up with rap, so I wouldn't know

Post 21 by forereel (Just posting.) on Monday, 23-May-2016 15:19:32

On the country side.
I'm liking Blake Shelton's "If I'm Honest."
What does the poster think of that one?

Post 22 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Monday, 23-May-2016 15:47:26

ah he's not too bad, haven't heard many of his songs but what I've heard I do like

Post 23 by Gus Pacleb (Newborn Zoner) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 10:35:33

What's up everyone? I just finished my freshmen year of high school yesterday, so I'm on
here just bored. Anyone want to chat? Add me on Skype! I play the piano and drums. I
can do crazy stuff with my mouth, like car engine sounds and beat boxing. Hope to hear
from y'all soon!

Post 24 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 10:56:16

this should be on the get to know you thingy. but since we're discussing
favorites...
I also play the piano too! Car noises with your mouth? hmm, I'm kinda ok with
that. beat boxing though... I suck at that. :p

Post 25 by forereel (Just posting.) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 12:18:12

I'd say that goes here. The topic is loose, so.
One of my favorite albums right now is Meghan Trainor's Thank You.
You that like pop, check her out.

Post 26 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 12:31:07

omg yes! it's very good! Megan is really good at compossing her music! love
her music!

Post 27 by Gus Pacleb (Newborn Zoner) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 13:02:29

Yeah, Megan is all right. I don't really listen to that stuff though. I'm more of the edm/dubstep/trap/anything electronic side of things. That's actually how I learned to beatbox by listening to dubstep. Lol

Post 28 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 13:36:59

lol, that's cool. :)

Post 29 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 14:26:54

never was much of an electronic type of person, I like the harder rock feel of the older stuff from the 80s and 90s, also the fact that the instruments are actually... well... real instruments helps

Post 30 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 14:34:53

also I feel I have to post this, for anyone who hasn't already seen it anyways
https://youtu.be/AOW7S04fztE?t=50
I'm posting the japanese version, but there is also an english version that I'm not posting because the acting is just... uh... well
if you wish, just look up the video title but replace japanese with english
best purchase I've made all year

Post 31 by forereel (Just posting.) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 15:55:03

Meghan uses real stuff. She's not electronic at all.
She even uses a wide range of things for different sounds.

Post 32 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 17:55:40

no I wasn't talking about meghan, just general response to post 27

Post 33 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 21:36:48

dubstep isn't really my thing to be honest. I'm more of a pop/softrock/latin
type of person. :)
oh yeh, you showed me this already remember? :)

Post 34 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Thursday, 26-May-2016 22:32:01

oh yeah, I did didn't I? I forget these things...

Post 35 by Ebony Flames (Zone BBS Addict) on Tuesday, 25-Oct-2016 9:02:49

I like piano music. Very pretty. Electronic music is gross. Some pop music is ok, but
most of it needs to go and die. Rap also needs to go and die. Some country stuff is
good, I wouldn't describe it as epic though. Most of today's music is not epic in the
slightest. The piano is better. Guitars are also good, but they should be played right.
Not badly. Ugh. Half asleep here, going to get off this board before I say something
else stupid.

Post 36 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Tuesday, 25-Oct-2016 10:19:56

I can agree with pretty much all of that, more of a choral music person myself though
the more complicated the better

Post 37 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Tuesday, 25-Oct-2016 21:59:27

but now for something completely different... unnecessarily high levels of virtual on screen blood
featuring a deadly, deadly ninja using a metal-capped staff with spiked chain weights
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vi5bUMQDUE
oh, and a dinosaur who seems to want to take a chunk out of our friend
https://youtu.be/U93r-eZY0iU?t=2618
and finally, 2 boss demons... 1 shooting lightning all over the place, and the other flinging fire
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Rtnl0A3uTE
in case it isn't already obvious, these are 3 videos of the same game, which I picked up about 2 3 years ago... and that I play the crap out of even now

Post 38 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 25-Oct-2016 22:07:05

dude, is it free? I hope it is cuz I want to play it! sounds like a blast!

Post 39 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Tuesday, 25-Oct-2016 22:09:03

I mean considering you'd have to pick up the console first then actually find this game, assuming it hasn't been discontinued you're looking at probably at least a hundred, and a hundred only because I don't know how much a PS3 in good condition is going for these days

Post 40 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Wednesday, 26-Oct-2016 21:47:06

oh. :( it's cool, just got bk3 and NVDA installed in my computer. Love how fast it is! :)

Post 41 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Wednesday, 26-Oct-2016 23:37:07

oh, how far have you gotten in the game?
did you mean your computer or the game when you said fast? lol because I could understand both being it

Post 42 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Thursday, 27-Oct-2016 12:06:22

computer. :) I'm in the tutorial. haven't played it yet.

Post 44 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Tuesday, 01-Nov-2016 14:15:53

use the camera to get up the platforms

Post 45 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 01-Nov-2016 15:04:04

that's very helpful. :p
*sighs* I'll figure it out... I know my friend liam did it.

Post 46 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Tuesday, 01-Nov-2016 15:40:29

no really that's all that you really need... just go up, it's relatively simple
the first jump point is I believe 8-9 tiles right of the door, then just find the ends of the higher platforms and go up to the switch

Post 47 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 01-Nov-2016 20:00:26

I figured it out! I'm on stage 3-4 now... and it's pretty hard to defeat the boss probably because I'm underleveled. :p lolk, but yeh, enjoying the game a lot!

Post 48 by moumoku-ninja97 (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Wednesday, 02-Nov-2016 2:10:23

although now for something different, my favorite youtube game commentator, I present xcalizors
also a series of games that has some of the best story I've ever watched, but this has spoilers so if you watch stop after the fight
https://youtu.be/K1flcsXxLWs?t=1196
and also sp00n and xcalizor's Fight Club

word of warning though, strong language in both videos so... yeah

Post 50 by Winterfresh (This is who I am, an what I am about. If you don't like it, too damn bad!!!) on Wednesday, 02-Nov-2016 10:11:53

Ariana's new album sucks. Her old stuff was waaaaaaay better, except for let me
love you with Wayne, and Be all Right. Dangerous Woman got overplayed and I
thought she had a lot more musical substance with her last two albums. Go back
to r&b where you belong Baby.

Post 51 by Winterfresh (This is who I am, an what I am about. If you don't like it, too damn bad!!!) on Wednesday, 02-Nov-2016 10:13:47

Baby, Lil Wayne is on drugs. He's on lean. Everyone knows that, but the man has
bars for days. Holy shit, I'm the holy shit, I'm god's manure. Brilliant word play.
Seriously.

Post 52 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Wednesday, 02-Nov-2016 10:45:22

Post 53 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 06-Nov-2016 13:29:33

guys, guys, made it to 5.2 in bk3! glad! :) I might play bk2 for kicks but the developer did a great job on it
! anyways, yeah, his wordplay is ok.

Post 54 by sia fan bp (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 06-Dec-2016 9:57:05

Heyyy again! haven't posted in here in a while. Obsessing over yet another audio game... Crazy party! it's amazing! I can't get through the beach or the forest adventure things. I suck!

Post 67 by Siriusly Severus (The ESTJ 1w9 3w4 6w7 The Taskmaste) on Thursday, 14-Dec-2017 5:18:54

fanfictions are okay if they're done right. Most of them are gross! I've seen a
few raising Harry ones that are great. I hate all of the snape fanfictions, I don't
think rowling does Snape any justice, but if at all possible the fanfictions on him
are worse. don't start me on the Snape pairings especially with Harry. Also,
don't start me with Draco parings most of those are pretty bad too.

I don't know any of those artists, the only newish thing I know is a little bit of
jazz type funk and sophisticated jazz hip-hop, but you mostly just call it jazz
anyway, how much of it can it deviate when it's only the newer stuff of Miles
Davis?

I listen to some CCM though. Contemporary Christian Music.

I don't know if anyone likes stuff like Chris Thomlin, Michael W smith,
Hillsong/hillsong united. santus reel
